KAPITI KIDZ VOCALS 

Do you have a child interested in singing but maybe scared of singing solo? 
Or perhaps one-on-one lessons aren’t in your budget?
 Come in out of the cold and join us at Kapiti Kidz Vocals! 
This is the only kids choir in Kapiti where the songs are funky, fun & modern AND we will teach vocal technique and theory as we learn.
Ages 8-12 - Mondays 5-6pm $10 per session.

Do you have pre loved kids sports shoes in great condition sitting around?
Kapiti Kids Sports Shoe Bank is now up and running. We are looking for great shoes to donate to kids around Kapiti.

Donations of plain white sports socks, in any child or teen size, are always welcome.
Kāpiti Coast District Libraries annual poetry competition is on now! 

We invite your students to participate as there are categories for children 6-12 years and teens 13-18 years, as well as adults. 

About the competition:
The theme is Ink / Waituhi and it can be interpreted any way you like. 
All entries will be published in a print book and ebook.
Entries are open from 1-30 June 2023.
Entries can be in English or Te Reo Māori.
Winners will be announced on National Poetry Day at the Open Mic Night at Paraparaumu Library on Friday 25 August, 5.30 – 6.30pm.
All participants are invited to read their poem aloud at the Open Mic Night. 
Entry is free and open to anyone in the Kāpiti Community.
You may submit one poem per person of no more than 10 lines. 
Entries are submitted via an online form on the library website.
