The allocated time for each interview will be 10 minutes. This primary purpose of this interview is for the parent to inform the teacher of any issues or concerns that they might have about their child and his/her coming year of study. It is not about teachers informing parents on student progress. The interviews have been scheduled to enable the sharing of information thereby improving our ability to meet your child’s needs. Once again we will be using a web-based interview booking system. The website will be the primary method of booking your child’s interview and we ask that you do this yourself rather than make phone or personal bookings through the office. To access the interview booking website please go to the last tab on the school website www.waikanae.school.nz and follow the instructions. This system is easier, saves time and will enable you to book your interviews from wherever/whenever you have web access. Bookings are now being taken.
